Quarto Bistrot Siena
Quarto has to be my favorite restaurant in Siena. It is hidden on a side street in Siena. This small restaurant only has four tables and is run by a husband and wife duo. Their food is creative and delicious. Somehow the food here is even better than it looks. Their menu is constantly changing. I would recommend talking with the owner and getting his suggestions. You need to get a reservation here. It is very easy because you can send them a message via their Instagram @quartobistrot. Their tasting menu is my go-to which is 40 euros a person and consists of 4 delicious courses you should accompany with their great wines. The dress here isn’t formal but I would suggest dressing smart casual.

SaleFino has some great modern takes on Tuscan cuisine. The atmosphere is fantastic and their menu changes frequently. While the dishes are modernized it absolutely does not take away from it still feeling and tasting like a classic Italian osteria. The service is great and it is a fantastic place to spend a relaxing night in Tuscany. I would recommend dressing smart-casual such as trousers and a blouse or a simple dress.

Pizzeria Alle Scalette
Pizzeria Alle Scalette is the best pizzeria in Siena. They are located under a staircase at Piazza Giacomo Matteotti. They have lots of outdoor seating and offer a wide range of pizzas. You can’t go wrong with anything on their menu. Their prices are great, and I recommend getting a reservation ahead of time to ensure you will get a seat because it can get busy. The dress is casual and I would recommend sitting outside so you can enjoy the sun while doing some people-watching.
